All were busy reminiscing about the great time we had in school. We just kept on saying how much we miss our friends and how we have failed to keep in touch with most of them. Then we went on to crib about the lack of an alumni association of our school. Very soon we came to the realization that there is nothing preventing us from starting an alumni forum.
Didn't take to long for all to get excited about it. We froze a date. We decided to meet on 18th which was a Sunday. We initially wanted to meet at some hotel but quickly dropped the idea in favour of getting together at the school itself.
We met the current principal and she was very enthusiastic about it. We got the permission to hold the event in the school. An ad was published in 'The Indian Express' on the 15th. Thereafter there was tremendous response from all. We got calls from those of the 84, 82 and even 78 batches the very next day. After frenzied, emailing and dialing we had already managed to get in touch with over a thousand people by Friday.
